Is Disney Getting Rid of Mickey Mouse?

With Mickey entering public domain, plus he's super old and over done, Disney might pick a new mascott.

Rumors have been going around that Disney is Dumping Micky! Now in publix domain anyone can do anything they want with him which could be back for the kids.

And of course the next best thing would be Minnie but she's not far off from public domain either! Nobody is safe!

They'll need to pick someone who hasn't been around too long but everyone still loves.

These are our guesses.

1. Chicken from Moana / AKA Hei Hei

This guy is super cute and colorful and brand new. Tons of potential, and Disney won't lose their rights. Imagine instead of Mickey ears we collected chicken feathers and waddles? So much more fun. And how cute are feathers?

2. Stitch

Everyone loves this guy. Cute and cuddly with big ears like Mickey. Disney already does a lot with stitch and there's a stitch "ride" Making him the main mascott for Disney would also help it become popular again and maybe I'd actually "ride" it.

UPDATE: Stitch ride is perminantly closed, but no anouncemnt has been made of replacement so perhaps it is sitting there waiting to open again???

3. Flounder

They just made another Little Mermaid movie, but we should stick to the original design. Who doesn't like that cutie sweete wittle fishy guy?
