Sadness today brews, as the Florida Brightline

The date is September 28th 2023, the Florida Brightline, a Cross state train that goes from Miami to Orlando. Has struck and killed someone forcing an unfortunate delay in today’s ride.

We were fortunate enough to have a scuzz insider who was riding the train today.

Everything was going good for their Miami to Orlando ride until there was an unexpected stop.

"The train was motionless, everyone was in a daze of passive murmurings. Questions on why the train had stopped had swept through the train cars like the attendants who were charging up and down the aisle telling passengers to not open the blinds, to avoid seeing the unruly horror that was an unfortunate product of our current society.

The announcement comes over the radio and causes a spill of quietness, as we listened to the announcement.

Someone was struck and killed on the tracks by the Birghtline Train, we are unable to procced with today's ride until the police finish their investigation.

A rather cloudy day, followed by a cloudy event that ended in murder.

What do we tell the children? I pondered, however the thought was nearly awash when they had made the announcement that all the passengers aboard will receive a free ride.

This made the sting of todays events temporarily soothed, however we were still stuck waiting for the police.

Until a second train emerged and extended a walkway for us to climb aboard.

I thought this was odd because it seemed as if this was far often too routine for the contingency to be so well acted.

The attendents were very professional about the situation, as they know the job they have taken.

All in all,

The train wasn't so bad and everyone was very understanding and accommodating, Don't let this discourage you I thought, and the thought will continue far after the train doors close behind me.
