Representation of Scuzz Writers On Strike

It’s been nearly four months, since the Scuzz strike started.

Scuzz offices have mostly been empty, with the exception of the one janitor that cleans the Scuzz office.

Not a keyboard clack or a mouse’s click has been made in since the end of November.

Alan Greene, The Scuzz News CEO

Has paid very little mind or attention to the state of Scuzz. When asked about Scuzz he would often pivot to using non sequiturs.

I reached out for comment with the following questions.

Me: Are you having thoughts about giving better wages to Scuzz writers so that they may return back to work?

Alan: When the chickens come to roost, they come with a pecking order.

Me:Okay.

Me: It’s been 3 months since anyone has heard anything from The Scuzz.

What do you have to say to them?

Alan: Whatever words I use now, will be concurrent to former statements that have been made.

Me: What is your intention with keeping

The Scuzz running?

Why have a news outlet with no staff?

Alan: Because controlling the narrative is a key aspect to manipulating the general public and if done correctly it can even influence the stock market.

Hiring creatives for the bare minimum of what I’m allowed to pay them is a never ending revolving door of people I can take advantage of. It provides me financial fluidity so I can have more influence in companies that I have personal investments in.

That was the end of the interview for Alan Greene had walked out after saying that.

Which is common in most interactions I’ve had with Alan.

Scuzz writer Douglas Willisberg stated

“We wanted to hold out longer but it’s difficult to find work in the industry when Alan Greene, The Scuzz CEO blacklisted the Scuzz writers from working anywhere else in the media industry.

We lost all of our momentum as most writers turned to different career paths, and trade school.”

Douglas also mentioned

“I just need a job where I can write bullshit that no one reads, and get paid the minimum wage so I can live off of bread and peanut butter.”

Head Scuzz Writer, Andy Gills

says articles are coming now that he has recovered from his mental spill.

Here is a statement he had made.

“I had been stressing out being the only person actually running The Scuzz.

My anxiety I was already dealing with tripled since the workload had also tripled, and it was causing me issues with sleeping.

I would have these racing thoughts that could not be quelled by any pills or alcohol.

Then during the day I would feel manic and exhausted, and I would start to see things in my home that just weren’t there.

After I was hospitalized, I was taken care of by fellow former Scuzz writers.

That helped me take it easy, and set my sights on personal betterment rather than stressing over a job that the CEO doesn’t really care about.

Thankfully after enough time had passed, we all had made a unilateral agreement.

We can work for the bare minimum and receive no benefits, because that’s the best we can do. However we also made an agreement, that stressing over deadlines for someone who is sitting in an ivory tower is just as useless as trying to find world peace.

Scuzz will be back and providing information that will help you be informed.

Thank you”

That was head writer Andy Gills statement, he seemed quite confident in his remarks.

It sounds like the Scuzz strike is finally coming to an end, and Scuzz Reporters will commandeer the offices once again!
