Why French Kissing is Better Than Normal Kissing

Smack. Slurp. Mwah. Everyone loves a good kiss on the mouth every now and again, but which sort of kiss on the mouth is the best?

Many people believe the normal kiss on the mouth is the best choice. After all, it’s the default option, so it should be the best. Right? Wrong. Scientists have recently conducted a cross-sectional survey which found that French kissing is actually much better than normal kisses on the mouth. Many people were surveyed asking if they prefer normal kisses on the mouth or French kisses. The response was....well...let's just say...shocking...

Most people report higher enjoyment and closer affection with a partner they feel they can lick. Normal kisses on the mouth, however, don’t usually have such strings attached.

Humans have been kissing each other on the mouth for centuries. However, recent archeological evidence suggests that people have been licking each other for much longer. The question, then, is why French Kissing is enjoyed more? Saliva is produced on the tongue, in the salvias glands. This activates a love response that surges throughout the body. By French kissing, these love glands are activated more forcefully. Normal kisses on the mouth only share a little bit of the salivia juices from the tongue and is apt to dry during the leaning in process that accompanies kisses on the mouth.

Let’s transition to the lips, the tortoise shell of the mouth. Usually, ladies like to wear a lil lipstick prior to kissing on the mouth.

This gets in the way of the saliva transfer process. With French kisses, there are no lips to get in the way of sharing love.

We even see French kissing in other species. Dogs, for example, love to French kiss.

Cats sometimes like to French kiss.

Horses don’t usually like to French kiss - No other species kisses on the mouth like humans do. Maybe we can learn from all our furry friends about how to be affectionate better. Maybe they can help teach us?
